Living & working in Nyksund, Vesterålen.

Nyksund is an idyllic village with a population of 28 and a very long history. Due to its geographical location, Nyksund offers a quiet and secluded atmosphere. Only the wind makes our village appear turbulent from time to time, but it’s exactly these natural forces that make Nyksund such a unique place. It’s an ideal destination for those who want to unwind, get creative or focus on work projects. When the work has been finished for the day, you’ll only need to take a few steps to immerse yourself in nature, clear your head and take a deep breath. Whether you enjoy hiking, picking berries or mushrooms, seal watching, marvelling at the northern lights or snowshoeing; Nyksund offers something for everyone.

Our co-working space is suitable for people who want to be creative, including artists, writers, musicians, as well as remote workers. We offer five desks with printer, copier and smaller office supplies. In our creative workshop you can craft, build and experiment. A fully equipped recording studio can also be rented.

Once a week, we share a meal together to get to know each other, exchange ideas and simply enjoy our time together.

In addition to all that we have to offer here in Nyksund, you can also just come here to relax and unwind. In Nyksund, you’re free to do whatever your heart desires.
