Important: If you want to come try out coworking please do so via an email to info@werf5.nl at least 3 days ahead so we have time to respond and see if that day is possible. We have no regular opening times, these depend on the regular people, just send an email to info@werf5.nl
WERF5 is a coworking and event/meeting space in a cosy wharf cellar next to the canal in Utrecht.
The goal of WERF5 is to be a place where we can do focussed work, where we can meet (new) people and where we can inspire and learn from each other. The term "Third Place" coined by the Sociologist Ray Oldenburg comes closest to the mission of WERF5.
During work-hours (usually between 9:00 and 19:00 on weekdays) it’s a co-working (coworking) place for freelancers. Just let us know via an email or a Facebook message when you're planning to come work.
The “regulars” have their own fixed desk because they like, or need, a big screen to work on.
The “flexible regulars” come in often, but don’t need a fixed desk to work.
The “the visitors” come in from time to time to have some focussed worktime, to meet with someone or to join an activity.
We believe cooperation is vital for freelancers. At WERF5 we like to help each other out with questions, problems and projects.
After work-hours and in the weekends WERF5 is often used as a place for workshops / brainstorm sessions / meetups / guided meditation / book-clubs / game-nights / live music. Anything that contributes to our businesses or the community.
